8.15 a.m.

I was still tossing and turning on my bed, refusing to wake up as it was not time to go off to pick dear dear up yet. So being the lazy me, I just lay in bed to wait till it was time to wake up and set off to pick dear up and then go for breakfast. Hehe.. was still thinking of having mac breakfast too.. keke... =)







8.45 a.m.

Was stirred awake by a presence beside me. Opened my eyes to see my dear dear beside me, smiling away, greeting me with a morning kiss and smile. =) hehe... was so surprised to see him by my bedside. I still thought that I was late. Realizing I was not too late, I thought that it was because he was released early and so he came over. Finally, I found out that dear dear had not reported sick at all and he was released last night! =p Was quite unhappy about it cos I was worried he had made his condition worse. But thankfully, darling was fine.. hehe... =) and hee.. I was happy to see by my side...





Hee... this was my first surprise of the day and hence, the first present. =)





Then, dear dear presented me with my second present. It was all wrapped up nicely in a red rose paper. Hee.. It was the carebear I wanted. It was a limited edition white and gold carebear with swarvoksi crystals eyes. Super lovely and I fell in love with it the first moment I laid my eyes on it. It was sooooo chio loh... hehehe... =)





Hence, the 2nd surprise and present of the day... =)





9.15 a.m.


I finally dragged myself out of bed. Looking at the carebear beside me, I was sooo happy. I gathered that dear dear must have went out to buy it the night before. Hee... =) That was pretty much enough to make my day already. However, Mum shouted that dear dear was very tired as he slept very late last night. So that kept me wondering and waiting for another card or something like present as it must have been something that needed effort to do. That was why dear dear was so tired and sleep so late. So yeah, I kept thinking about it but I refrained from asking dear dear... hehe... don want to spoil my surprise too.. =)





9.30 a.m.


I went to wash up and get ready to go down for breakfast as promised by dear dear. But seeing that he was so tired, I decided to ask him to go and sleep first so that he can have a good rest and we can enjoy the rest of the day. =) So I went to tuck him into bed to sleep. And guess what, when I took away the blanket, there was another present hidden underneath. It was a CD of love songs. And the songs inside were so lovely and classic! =)





My third surprise and present for the day... =)





After getting that present, dear dear went to sleep. He was sooo tired. Then I went to complete my work while I wait for him to be ready.





12 noon


Finally, dear dear managed to get himself out of bed. Hehe.. After quite a number of tries to wake him up... Haha.. But it's okay. I can understand that he is very tired for the whole week as well and that he is feeling ill too. So well, I let him sleep and did not dare to wake him up. When he woke up and realized that it was already noon, he was so anxious. I did not understand at all. To me, it was ok to go out slightly later and all. But it seemed like he had a schedule. But anyway, I was in too good a mood to actually ask him and think too much. Hehe... =)





He washed up and we went downstairs for our lunch. After that, we went home and I started to get ready to go out. I had not dressed up for quite some time already. For once in a long while, I finally put on a more formal black dress and dressed more formally. At first, I felt weird as it has been a long while since I actually went out so formally dressed. I was so used to shorts and tees. =p But dear dear assured me that it was very pretty and fine, so I went out in that. =)





2.15 p.m.


We finally went out and we made our way to Suntec City. This is where it really all happened! =) From the moment I reached Suntec, all my surprises came out one after another. =) I am truly a blessed person to have my dear dear.





We shopped around for a while and I found this really cute shop selling Superman and Batman tees. Quite expensive, but I managed to find one nice one. Hehe.. Then we bought it. After that, we went around to shop and I bought another top and bottom and a belt. Loved my purchases! =) I like things from that shop (Missy Style). Quite cool and price still pretty reasonable. Then, we went to the arcade! =) Tried very hard but in the end still unable to catch a toy! =( So upset.





Suddenly, this lady came up to me and asked:"Are you Yuan Yuan?" I was so super shocked! I was so stunned at how someone on the street knew my name? She then smiled and said:"Someone asked me to this to you." Then she passed me a present and she left. =p I was left speechless and wondering, with the present in my hands and a smiling dear dear beside me. I was like how did you manage this stunt?!?! Then he just smiled and shrugged and refused to divluge anything! =p Left me blur, happy and very blur...



I opened the present and found a lovely black dinner bag. =) Hence, this was my fourth surprise and present.



Till this moment, I was still so lost. But of cos feeling super happy! =)



4.45 p.m.

We headed to Marina Square as dear dear suggested. Since we had nothing to do. I was actually kinda grumbling on the way that we should have went to MS first before Suntec, so that we can drive down to Flyer later easier as the car was parked at Suntec. Then we did not have to make a detour. But anyway, it was just little complaints. Oh before we headed for MS, we bought doughnuts to eat! Hehe... =) Yummy! :)



*Digress* Along the way, I was commenting about a design of a particular ring. I was saying I did not like the design as it was very Malay. Hehe.. As in it seems to be in a design that mostly Malays would choose and wear. Tried very hard to explain to dear dear but he did not get what I meant. Took me like forever to explain to him loh! =( Horrible, and he was like so anxious. Finally, after what seemed like forever, he finally understood the design I was talking about.



Anyway, when we reached MS, dear dear led me to walk around and then suddenly head for the information counter. He then retrieved another bag from there! I was like ???????? Huh? How on earth did he manage that stunt again? I was thinking he had planted it there the night before! But of cos, dear remained tight lipped and refused to say anything! Oh well... =p



Inside the bag, there was one side of a pair of heels. It was a lovely black heel. So beautiful! But of cos my ???? came up again! Dear dear, as usual, smiled happily that his 'tricks' were working well and that I was so filled with ?????.



But of cos, the smart me guessed correctly! =) Hehe... I guessed that I had to find the other side of the heel. And thinking back, I received heels and a bag. I immediately asked dear dear was the next present going to be a dress? Did he want me to change my whole outfit plus heels totally? He smiled and brought me to walk around. =) Really very surprised and happy about what he had done. But I told him not to waste money on the dress if he had not bought before. However, i should have guessed better. It was already purchased. =)



We went in search of the other half of my present. Gearing up to find the fifth surprise and present of the day! Dear dear turned my attention to this shop Euraugo. Immediately, I found my fifth surprise and present of the day! My lovely black heels! =) Beautiful! =) Thanks dear dear! =)



Then dear dear started to say hi and all to the aunties in the shop. I was like so stunned, standing there not knowing what to say. It was amazing how dear dear had done all those things. It made me feel like I was a princess and that all the impossible had suddenly became possible. It was like a dream. Then, the shop lady brought me to a fitting room and I saw this beautiful black dress hung there. It was mine. It belonged to me. It was my sixth surprise and present for the day. I was so touched! I was being treated nothing less than a princess. It was such a beautiful and wonderful feeling. I had never being treated this way before! I love you so much dear dear! =) The dress and the heels and the bag matched so well! They were such a wonderful match!



Well, I changed into the dress and the shoes and changed my bag too. =) The dress fit me perfectly. =) Dear dear was so happy with his choice of the entire outfit, from top to bottom. I was also very happy... =) Hee.. really felt like a princess.. =) can't stop smiling.. hahaha... and till now I think of it, I am still very happy and it never fails to bring a smile to my face... =) After I was done changing, I looked around for a pair of earrings that went well with the whole outfit. Hee... and I managed to find a pair in the shop itself.. keke.. After all was done, we were ready to leave. However, dear dear said that I could leave all my stuff in the shop. I was like 'HUH" How can? Who is going to collect them? But dear dear, as usual, just smiled at me. He did not want to reveal anything. For once, he is so freaking tight-lipped loh.. Hahaha.. =) Anyway, we went out and started to shop around. I felt quite awkward when we first walked out of the shop cos I was like so formally dressed and then everyone was like staring at us.. Hahaha... =p Oopppss... So embarrassing... but still very happy.. hee..

Well, finally it was 6 p.m. We made our way back to suntec to get the car and head to Singapore Flyer. We got there in like 5 minutes and slowly we made our way to the Flyer from the carpark. We even took some pictures on the way and we found out that they were actually celebrating Halloween! =p So cool! There was even a pumpkin on the middle of the Flyer wheel. Haha... =)

When we got there, we walked around a bit and looked around the area. Went to the park area or something la (I have no idea what to call that place), and took some pictures. Hehe... everything was cool and in the theme of Halloween! =)

After that, we went to the resturant Senso Bistro. Dear dear had already made a reservation there. When we walked in, dear dear was asking the person about the reservation when I happened to spy a table which had a big bouquet of roses sitting there! I was like "WOW"!!!!! They were so beautiful! Then dear dear asked me where do I want to sit, and I wanted to ask if the flowers were mine? But then I was a bit paiseh la... so I kept quiet and dear dear ushered me to sit at that particular table. Hehe... =) I was dumbfounded. It is the first time I received such a BIG BIG BIG bouquet of roses! It was so cool! I was elated. That is my seventh surprise and birthday present!!!! Actually I have no words to describe my happiness for that day! It is really so unbelievable and unexpected. I never thought that it was something that will happen to me... I thought it is only possible in TV serials! =p Hehe... To think that it happened to me! So unbelievable! Then we sat down to eat. The stuff were quite cool and special! Hee... Well, I might just go back there to celebrate the anniversary or something cos it really is a place of significance! =) I felt so blissful and I was like the centre of attraction. We had pasta, chicken, garlic bread, pizza and dessert and champagne! Heheh... sumptuous! Hehehe... yummy~ And the dinner is my eighth surprise and present!!!

Finally when it was time for the dessert, I was like why was it taking so long... when the dessert finaly arrived, i realized why... They had to decorate the plate, light a candle and place a gift properly on the gift and not dirty the gift too! =p Heheh... And guessed what it was??!!!??? It was a pearl earrring and matching pearl pendant! =) Heheh... it was my ninth gift and surprise! I was really happy about it! =) It was a really cool surprise loh... I can't think about the amount of planning and things he had done before that! It was so exciting... I was stumped at that moment about the things he had done and prepared and I really had no idea what he had done all those things that he had done... I was thinking and and thinking but I was also quite happy and elated to think about it.. hahahaha... =)

After dinner, we went out of the restaurant. Then I went to the toilet. After that, dear dear asked me to close my eyes and he led me to a particular spot. When I opened my eyes, I was totally stunned by what I saw! I really still cannot believe and imagine what had happened to me! It was so stunning! All out friends (those closer ones) were all there! They lighted sparklers and started singing happy birthday ! Hehehe... I was so touched and happy with their presence! Thanks for being there ya! (Oh, they were the ones mentioned at the previous email!) I was so happy la! =) And that was my tenth surprise and present! =) Hehehe... =)

Then we started taking photographs and all... Hehe... really fun! =) Well, we will upload the photographs when we have them and err.. have time! =) And it was then I realized how dear dear managed his feat and his two runners cum coordinators were actually Adele and XX! =) Lovely people! HUgs!

Then, we proceeded to take the flyer. It was my virgin ride on the Flyer! Hehehehe... =p Was so super duper looking forward to it as well. =) Then on the way up, I realized that dear dear actually PAID for all of them!! I nearly fainted! But well, to him, it was well-spent! Oh well, I was too happy to say anything and I know that he did everything for me, for the sake of making me happy and to let me have a wonderful and unforgettable birthday.

My final present came when we went up the Flyer and at the time he proposed. It was a Precious Moment figurine!! Cos I told him before, if he wants to propose he must actually buy that and propose.. Hehehe.. and my sweet darling dear dear actually did that! =) Hehehe.... Muack!!! =) And hence my eleventh surprise and present for the day!

So in the end, I have 11 small presents and 1 big one which is the proposal ring! =) And it means yi sheng yi shi de wei yi.. meaning the one and only in the whole lifetime.. =)

Well, it has definitely been a day of joy and fun and happiness and blissfulness (if there ever is such a word)... hehehe... Things that I never imagined would ever happen to me actually happened! It is so cool! I am so happy! =) Hehe... I love my dear dear soooo much! hehehe... he has made my birthday so wonderful and unforgettable! He made me feel like a princess and someone who is so loved and all! I will never forget this birthday and the big big proposal! =) It was really a beautiful day and it will be in my memory forever!

Well, as to how dear dear managed those feats, I shall not reveal... Hehehe... it is his secret and mine of cos and his 2 coordinators... =) And it is something that my dear dear did for me... Hee...

Dear dear, just want you to know that I love you loads and I will never regret accepting your proposal and becoming your fiancee.. =) Muack! Looking forward to our future together! =) Thanks for all your surprises and effort dear! It is so romantic and I think it can be labelled as the most beautiful proposal of the year, decade, century! Wahahahhahahahaha.... to me at least! =)
